PRETORIA – Another ballistics expert is set to take the witness stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.
The new witness is expected to shed light on a peer review he conducted in 2020, confirming Chris Mangena’s findings that linked a firearm allegedly confiscated from accused number 3 to the bullet that killed the Bafana Bafana captain in 2014.
State ballistics expert Mangena has been testifying after he was recalled to the stand. 
The defence argues that accused number 3, Mthobisi Mncube, is being framed and the ballistics analysis is wrong.
